On Thursday, January 19, at the Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación theUPV Match withINETUM to present new solutions from the university’s research teams and to respond to the needs for innovation in healthcare technologies requested by the company. This is the second match-making on innovation in digitalization for healthcare between representatives of the business unit.BU Health of the multinational IT agile and the UPV.
INETUM has maintained since 2021 a collaboration agreement with the UPV to foster relationships and collaborate on innovation projects. At the end of 2022 the company expressed its interest in innovating in health in Genomics, AI applied to medical imaging and laboratories, Chronic Disease Management, telehealth and telemedicine, intelligent ICUs and Clinical Decision Support Systems. The UPV held a first UPV Match in “Health” solutions.
At this conference organized in 2023, the company presented its innovation strategy in healthcare to 11 research groups from the UPV, who then presented their project idea based on research results and innovation for digitalization in healthcare.
About 20 experts have gathered in a day of exchange of proposals for solutions to innovate in health, in which the interventions of Salvador Coll, Vice Rector for Innovation and Transfer, Antonio Carmona, Territorial Director of the Balearic Islands, Valencia and Murcia of Inetum and Jesús Otero, Innovation Director of Inetum, stand out.
After the conference, the company will evaluate the solutions presented and will meet with the teams of those proposals of greatest interest in order to develop joint R&D&I projects to solve the needs for digitization in the healthcare sector.
