Last February a group of students and professors of the Master participated in the workshop entitled “Building social value beyond conservation in the Archaeological Park of Paestum and Velia”, whose objective was to explore new ways and methods to enhance the value of the Parco Archeologico di Paestum e Velia. The relationship between archaeological sites and the built landscape was the central theme of the workshop.
During the workshop, visits were made to the Archaeological Park of Paestum, the Archaeological Park of Pompeii and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, as well as several full-time intensive/face-to-face working sessions with all the teachers and tutors involved with the students (in Naples, at Palazzo Latilla, used by DIARC/Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II).
