What is a regulated profession?
According to Article 4 of Royal Decree 1837/2008, of November 8, 2008, a regulated profession is the activity or set of professional activities for whose access, exercise or modality of exercise is required, directly or indirectly, to be in possession of certain professional qualifications, by virtue of legal, regulatory or administrative provisions.
Annex VIII of this Royal Decree lists the regulated professions. The specific conditions of this profession are regulated in Order CIN/326/2009, of February 9, 2009, published in the BOE of February 19, 2009.
