Pedro Serna Ros -Valencia 1954. Civil Engineer - Univeristat Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) 1978. PhD - UPV 1984 and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées Paris. UPV Professor since 1979. Full Professor since 2003. Director of 16 doctoral theses. Participation in 20 competitive projects. IP in 10 competitive projects nationwide. Author of more than 60 articles in scientific journal and 70 conference. Table H Scopus 11. Reviwer in multiple journals.

Research areas: special concrete technology, fiber concretes, concretes with high and very high strength, self-compacting, recycled. Analyzed from their conception, dosing criteria and Technology (robustness, dosing methods) and other properties (ductility HSC, reinforcement bond to concrete, fresh state). Structural analysis (shear behavior in SCC and FRC). Pioneers in the introduction of new concrete. Responsible for some applications of FRC in Spain and reference in the world - Oceanographic restaurant Shells - concept, structural design, technology. The footbridges in UHPFRC were the first in Spain with invited conference in the FIB-ACI Congress 2014 Montreal fiber.

Collaboration in drafting the concrete section of the Model Code on FRC (FIB TG 4.1), and annex 14 and 18 spanish code EHE. Normalization Subcommittee Chairman SC5 CTN83 - concrete fibers. Member of WG 11 (concr. Fiber) CEN TC 104. Chairman of RILEM TC CCF on Creep of Fiber Reinforced Concrete.

Initiator of the Iberoamerican Congress on SCC and Member of the Organizing and Scientific Committee. Also Scientific Committee in congresses BEFIB RILEM and other national and international conferences.

He has designed special test methods for concrete: ECADA method patent - bond concrete to active reinforcement; Shear; Creep in concrete with fibers
