To help the student observe different ways of doing things and get feedback with a plurality of styles and perspectives on the construction of knowledge.
To share and change roles in the evaluation process, without the teacher relinquishing responsibility.
To encourage students’ responsible involvement within the cooperative team by evaluating the individual work of each of the members and also the final work of the team.
To promote educational situations involving participation, dialogue and relationships, which enable students to analyse their own work and that of their peers in an ethical and critical way.
