The Universitat Politčcnica de Valčncia (UPV) is one of the top 500 universities in the world to study up to 5 fields of knowledge: Arts and Humanities, Business and Economics, Computer Science, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences.
This is indicated in the latest edition of THE Subject Ranking, the classification for evaluating the worldwide universities by subject conducted by the magazine Times Higher Education (THE), considered, along with ARWU and QS, one of the three most prestigious university indicators in the world.
In addition to the recognition by THE, which considers the UPV one of the 200 universities with the greatest economic and social impact globally, it is joined by the rest of the most prestigious international university rankings.
Thus, the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU, popularly known as the Shanghai ranking) rates UPV as the best technical university in Spain and includes it for the 20th year in a row, among the 500 best universities in the world.
For its part, the QS World University Rankings included the UPV in the global top 500 for the 13th consecutive year last June.
